Nature Lover

Growing up I’ve always loved being outside, I called my self an outdoor monkey. I loved exploring everywhere and always seem to come home looking like a mess. My parents used to live near a farm and I always seemed to enjoy running into the fields. Feeling the wispy touch of the grain stems on my skin. Climbing bails of hay that were stacked up high. Or going into the mountains and climbing the highest hill, listening to the wolves howl at night, laying outside on the grass, looking up at the beautiful starry sky. I love nature with all its beauty, with all its colors, the feeling of happiness running through my soul. These are memories I will forever cherish, the habits I will never change!

These are my simple pleasures in life, nothing is more peaceful then enjoying a day outdoors, looking at the beautiful blue sky, the shapes of the clouds as they change throughout the day. The beautiful colors within as the sunsets, the feeling of connecting with mother nature and its animals. The freedom to let your mind wander and let loose on the stress of life. The feeling of being free and at peace with no route to go because all you want to do is explore, discover places no one has seen. Enjoying natures beauty and its scenery. Feeling the warm embrace of the sun as it kisses my skin, feeling like a flower charging my soul with its light. Listening to the birds sing their song as they fly.

Sitting outdoors when it rains, hearing the raindrops hit the ground. Oh the smell of freshness, oh the smell of wet ground. How tempting it is to go dancing in the rain, the way it calls my name.  Looking at the sky as it sparks, so scary yet beautiful to just see the sky light up in the dark. A display of beauty as the day clears, revealing a colorful ring in the sky. Look at it touch the ground, wondering if maybe you can reach the end and climb up into the sky. What a beauty it truly is, how blessed are we to enjoy such joyous days.

I am thankful for such blessings and grateful to enjoy the many days of beauty. I wake up to a new day, where I step outside and contemplate the day. Smell the sweet perfume of flowers, hear the birds sing, gazing upon those beautiful green tall trees. I can feel the amazing energy surrounding me. Starting my day with happiness. How blessed I am to live a life with beauty, open your eyes and see all that the universe has created for you. where there is chaos there is also peace. Amongst this crazy world, we call home, things can be overwhelming at times. Take care of yourself and recharge your soul, don’t let anything stop you from receiving happiness, do what you love even if that means to go back in time to place where you felt truly free. A child at heart, I will always be. Let’s go on an adventure, discover the beauty there is yet to see!

Much love and gratitude ~Guadalupe
